420 GSM. No fleece. Not Supima. Here's why.
Last winter, you told us the fabric could be heavy and the inner fleece tended to stick to your clothes. So we went back and improved it. This time, we moved to a 420 GSM heavyweight loopknit and removed the fleece completely. The warmth now comes from the weight of the fabric, while the clean cotton loops inside stay soft and comfortable.
At 420 GSM, Supima would push the hoodie price beyond ₹4,000. We had two choices: use Supima and reduce the weight, or choose a different premium cotton and build the winterwear at the weight we actually wanted.
We chose premium compact cotton. Right weight in right premium yarn!

This was a deliberate change based on feedback from last winter. Brushed fleece can sometimes shed or stick to your T-shirt and innerwear. We removed it completely and kept clean, soft cotton loops on the inside instead. Nothing to shed, nothing to stick.

Red Label Compact Cotton is our premium compact-spun cotton choice for this collection. The fibres are spun tightly to create a smoother, stronger yarn with fewer loose fibres on the surface. The result is a soft, clean fabric with good strength and better resistance to pilling than conventional cotton yarns.
The compact-spun yarn, heavyweight construction and reinforced stitching are selected to improve long-term durability and shape retention. The fabric is also processed for controlled shrinkage. As with any premium cotton garment, following the recommended wash care will help it retain its surface, fit and structure for longer.
Machine wash gently in cold water with similar colours and a mild detergent. Turn the garment inside out before washing, avoid bleach and excessive heat, and dry it in shade. Proper care will help preserve the colour, softness, fit and structure of the heavyweight cotton.
